Ouch! Whatever you subscribed to, it wasn't this list (so your message had to be forwarded by the list moderator), but this is indeed where you can get help with OOo questions from other users. I'm not familiar with the specific problem, but "content.xml" is the major component of the zipped file that the Open Document Format OOo uses for storing your spreadsheet. It sounds as if the file may have been corrupted, in which case you'll have to go to a backup version (sure hope you have one!).
