Below are instructions to transfer graphics from PDF to OOo.
This works at least with Acrobat Reader 5.0.
Either select the Graphics Select Tool from the Acrobat Reader toolbar
(the rightmost icon) or press G. Then select the graphics with mouse,
select Edit -> Copy or press CTRL+C, go to OOo document, select Edit ->
Paste or CTRL-V.
