To Users: I have been using Quicken for a few years, for my personal bank account record keeping, but I understand that OOo spreadsheet could also be used, and would like some pointers for this. I have OOo ver.3.1! :-)
Here is the way I create Calc documents from Quicken Premium 2010:
1.  File -> Print Transactions
2. From the print menu, choose (radio button) Export to: .PRN(123-compatible) disk file, click EXPORT 3. Name the file, and include .CSV at the end of the name. Note where the file will be saved. I select DESKTOP for the file. Click SAVE. 4. Double click the saved file, OOo Calc will open a Text Import window, defaulting to comma separation a double quotes Text delimiter. If not, select the comma and double quotes. Click OK. 5. Calc opens the file. It may need some format tweaking. Save the file in .ODS format.
