However, it is a matter of touching all the bases so to speak.  Further,
if it gets even more votes and nothing is still done despite a new push,
then there becomes a strong case to revise how things are currently
done.  It showed that X number of people are interested enough to log in
and mark the problem as important.

Dunno, but since it only take a moment to mark a vote and the stats can
be used in several ways, including using them to show that the votes are
getting blown off and some refinement is needed in the process.
