Hi,
FYI, there is an OpenOffice.org Education Project : http://
education.openoffice.org ( more: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/
wiki/Education_Project ). We aim to work with schools and students
(in computing science preferably), and the goal of the Education
Project, is to create a bridge between Educational world and
OpenOffice.org.
One of it's missions is to discover the OOo source code, and solve
little problems, or hack the code and add new (little) features. Not
sure I understood your needs, but maybe there is something
interesting you .
Last, we provide OOo4Kids, a 7-12 (can be adapted easely) version of
OpenOffice.org, say OpenOffice.org - 40 %

Thanks,
Eric Bachard
