Thanks to all who answered: I could have chosen a better subject
because we know how to add a suggestion thru the dialogue. I think
she wanted to know if there was a way to go directly to the text
in question and edit it directly.

Apparently that feature is available in MS-Word, but what do I know?

I did note that if she picked an alternative, closed the window and
picked 'undo' from the menu, she would be taken to the text. That is
a 'trick' that I think she could get used to.

 Right on.
My company is reviewing different Linux distros in preparation for
transitioning a department of an organization to a Linux Office.
Open Office will be central feature, regardless of the distro.
 cheers
