Good question. I did some additional testing. I wrote a quick silly document and copied and pasted it into this message: This line has the standard <enter> at the end This line has a shift-enter at the end This is the end of the document. The first line has a standard paragraph mark. The second line has a different character (an arrow of sorts) at the end of the line.
