Hi,
I am navigating through an odt document.
Some items in the doc are links.
When clicking on them I can jump to other chapters or sections of the
document.
Is there any button / keyboard short cut to navigate back?
I'm basically looking for the equivalent of a BACK button in a web
browser.
Alt + Left arrow works in OOo 3.2.0 on Windows Vista (and in many web
browsers). You can then jump forward again with Alt + Right arrow.
Thanks for your answer.
It doesn't seem to work.
I tried on OO 3.1.1 and Linux Ubuntu.
and on Windows XP OO 3.2
I tried Alt-Left and Alt-Numpad_left
I can't believe there's no way to navigate back, but I have no success.
I did mot create the document, so I don't know how the link was implemented.
It represents as a text which is black on gray and shows a context text
when hovering with the mouse over it.
When clicking I jump to the related section in the same text document.
The only Google hit, that I had so far was one from 2007 saying that
Open Office does not support navigating back
Any help is appreciated
I did a quick test before originally replying to you and it seemed to
work. Strangely, I can't get it to work again now, so not sure what I
did before to make it work. Maybe I inadvertently opened an exported PDF
in Adobe Reader rather than opening the original document in Writer,
though I would have thought I would notice if I had... Sorry for any
misinformation. I'll post back if I manage to figure it out again.
Mark.
