Download OOo again and reinstall. If you can't uninstal, use for example Revo Uninstaller and clean the registry. Hagar Le 26/07/2010 23:43, Hillary Hansen a écrit :
I believe he did.... but I have also found out that the other night he was trying to "clean up" our computer, deleting programs we don't use and I fear he may have deleted something he shouldn't have!! I can't open anything but Google Chrome.... everything else it says it can't find the program to run it!! A friend of mine thinks he may have deleted a Windows program that the computer needs to run all its stuff... i don't know... he's going to stop by tonight and see if he can't figure it out... keep your fingers crossed for me!! You can change the settings back to the desired ones by right clicking on the icon of the file, clicking properties and then changing the program with which the program opens. This can also be done in the the control panel, but that is a longer route. I recently downloaded OpenOffice to my home computer as my husband needed a Word program for work. (We just had a new baby--so feeding her was a higher priority than feeding Bill Gates--LOL) I have Open Office at my job and have had no problems with it. My husband however, had to import a file for his job and hit "yes" to "import all" and now all of our desktop icons are open office icons and it won't even let me run the program I need to work on something I am doing here at home!! Furthermore, I tried to use System Restore to go back to before he had done this and it won't even let me do that!! I also tried "add/remove programs" but still no such luck!! Please help!! I'm freaking out!! :) Thanks Hillary --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
