I am new to openoffice and need some help.  I just purchased a new laptop with 
Windows 7 installed.  It came with a student trial version of Windows Office 
installed but I prefer to open existing files (word, excel etc.) created in 
Office 2007 and create new ones using openoffice.  When attempting to do this, 
however, the computer defaults to the Microsoft software.  Any thoughts that 
may help?  Thanks!
