I'm not an expert on this, but I believe that if a Gmail user sends a message to a mailing list, Gmail (sometimes?) suppresses the copy of the message that is returned to the author, on the principle that there is already a copy in the user's "sent items" (or wherever). If that were the case, you might not have known that your screen shot didn't make it to other subscribers; that's the only reason I mentioned the fact.
