I need some help with how to change the formatting (e.g. first line
indentation) of a paragraph style. The F11 "Styles and Formatting" and
"Edit
Paragraph Style" do not work for me and the help wasn't very helpful :(
Thanks
Adam.
If you will send to me direct the requirements I will see what I can do
to
help. Just saying something does not work is not enough information to
work
with.

Thanks Andy, I will try to explain my problem.
I started a document and have outline numbered paragraphs with:
indent
Before Text 1.27cm
First line -0.64cm
and all paragraphs in the document have this formatting style as defined
in
the style named *Default*. Now I want to change this to say:
indent
Before Text 2.00cm
First line -0.13cm
and have this new formatting applied to all paragraphs using the style
named
*Default*
**
Hoping I have explained the problem well enough for you to understand.
As I mentioned in my first email I followed the help on the F11 "Styles
and
Formatting" and "Edit
Paragraph Style" etc but can't get it to work.
Adam
Then I think I misunderstood your original question earlier. If you use a
numbered paragraph, I think the usual styles are overridden. I think you
need to right click your paragraph, select "Numbering… blah blah blah”
something and do your settings there. Look at the Position tab. It's a bit
tricky, but experiment with one value at a time and see what happens.
