OOo 3.1, Win XP Pro
I'm trying to set up a page containing several frames. The plan is to
have
two sets of 3 linked frames.
I create the first frame of the first set, lets call it 1A.
Yes, so far so good.
I create the second frame of the first set, 2A.
Yes, makes sense too.
I can happily set 2A's "previous frame" to 1A and 1A's "next frame" to
2A.
Same for me, but if I set 2A's nprevious frame to 1A I don't need to set
1A's next frame, because it will be set automatically, but I guess that's
what you meant.
So far so good. We have, for set A the first frame linked to the second.
Now I create the third frame of set A ("3A") but I can't set the
linkages.
You can't? I can…
Frame 2A shows nothing is available as a "next frame" and 3A shows
nothing
is available as a "previous frame". The Navigator shows all three frames
correctly named.
Why can't the third frame be linked?
Strange, it can on my system. The only thing that I can't do is to link 3A
back to 1A but it seems reasonable that I shouldn't…
And I can't link directly when creating the frame; I have to first click
OK, then right click 2A or 3A and then do the linking thing. I also had to
do that with 2A to link to 1A.
OS=Ubuntu 10.04
I have OOO3m12 (Build:9483) – which is NOT the version to be found in the
Ubuntu repositories.
A bug?
Anyone else?
