Openoffice.org, like any major application is subject to security
vulnerabilities. Howerever, if you download only from the authorized
site: http://www.openoffice.org/ and
<http://download.openoffice.org/index.html> it is highly unlikely that
you will pick up a virus... otherwise there would be 'literally'
millions of users complaining.
