I think that message pops up whenever an MS format is selected. It doesn't mean that info /will/ be lost, just that it /may/ be. Certainly, I've saved as ppt, seen that message, and it's been fine.

I suggest you save the file, and use MS's free ppt viewer to check it looks OK.


What is likely to be the problem? If I go ahead and save as ppt will the
file be usable? Can recent Powerpoints deal with odp files?
