Yes, it's free to use in a commercial setting. You are free to install
and use it on as many computers as you wish. You are also free to give
it to others. Further, it's available for Linux, Windows and Mac, so
everyone can use it.

Dear Sir / Madam,
I am a home user for openoffice software. I understand that it is free to
use the software.
However, I have a question. I want to introduce to my friends to use it in
their office (commercial use).
I need to know if it is free to use it in the commercial setting. Do they
need a license (legal) copy or
what ? Or, just download the free copy and use it ?
Kindly advise pertaining to the above.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Keng Peng, Ng
