I am an old time user. I have registered every time I have fetched a new
OO.o version, from www.openoffice.org starting with version 1.1 way
back. The web site, when supported by SUN was inviting.
When I use the OO.o>Help>Register I am sent to an Oracle web site.. In
creating an account there, the web site refuses to take any proffered
password. I concluded that if they were that anal, they don't care and
there might not be any need to register.
I want to support OO.o but that is not something I am willing to wade
through.
