ReHi all:

I run Thunderbird and all this NNTP stuff is just fine - old Hat. also I
found a number of other topics in Gmane that got my curiosity, too -
just am short of time to read all that stuff.

One list was in Portuguese. As a speaker in French (2nd) and Spanish
(3rd), I found trying to understand this a fun challenge!

I wonder if Gmane will allow posting of attachments, and if so, rules on
size and kind? If not I could host a lot of them on Google Docs and TEXT
the URLs, or make torrents.

(That reminds me D-Link's current DNS-323 now seems to have a built-in
torrent server! I'll have to shake their tree and see if there's another
big firmware flash to be had.)

The last one lets it format ext3, and about 45 other improvements - that
was a real help when it came. It even recuperated a WD 2Tb. Green drive
that looked as if it were D.O.A. Pleasant surprise!

Cheers,

Bruce M.
