To whom it may concern:
Some months ago I read about your free microsoft-word-compatible application. I checked out your web site to ensure that it was really free, and it was. It was destined for a friend of mine who wanted it in German. Therefore I was redirected to your German site and asked for personal information. Having just bought a HP computer, a lot of personal information was asked for all the various applications running on it, so no big deal about personal information. Upon activating the download process, I was informed that this service costs 8 euros a month, 96 a year. Freeware being freeware, I aborted the process. A month later, my friend received an invoice for 96 euros. I replied that the program was not downloaded. No answer on that but my friend received now a reminder for 96 euros. Are you aware that your Free and Open Productivity Suite is made payable when downloaded through a German site? If not, are going to check into this matter? If you do check into it, I would appreciate your intervention on my friend's behalf to invalidate the sneaky invoice of Content4u GmbH (reminder attached), and keep me informed of your actions.
