Now You've got to be Kidding Oracle... What kind of service is this that I signed onto to get the answers to my software problems and questions. This unnecessary crud is B.S. I'm opting out of this... can't get help from support then what good is it.

We are NOT Oracle. This is a user mailing list. No one on this list is paid, and the advice you receive here is free. We are all volunteers who try to help our neighbors. Email that you receive is from people who have questions. It is essential to the purpose of this mailing list.

If you articulate your question carefully, tell us what your operating system is, something about your computer, and what version of OO.o you are running, someone may have a solution for you.

In return we ask nothing except that you put up with other email not related to your problem and follow a few rules: Put your response to a question AFTER the message. This is called bottom posting, and whether you like it or not that's what you are expected to do. There are good reasons for this that I'm not going to state here.

Just do it.

The reason for the software and versions, and the hardware questions is that some people here run Linux, others PCs, some run Windows from 2000 through Windows 7 and I don't know what else, but I am not surprised at the many machines. There are differences, in spite of the care to avoid them.

If you still don't like the mailing list you are free to unsubscribe. Follow the directions at the bottom of every message you receive from this list.

With Warmest Regards
David Teague
