I hope this helps. I'm using W7 SP1, LO 3.3.0
Your file opens here without the "recovery looping" problem that you
describe. The only difficulty I am seeing is that the image, Figure 2-1,
obscures the foot notes on page 6.
Perhaps you could try LO 3.3.2, but I do not know whether you can
install it along side OO.o 3.2.
I understand LO 3.4 is beta software. I would not try that other than to
help debug it.
