Hi:
I am using Open Office 3.3.0 on a Window's 7 computer
In the past, the default behaviour of the equation editor was to put
Greek letters (eg Beta) in italics. Now regular letters (eg Y) are put
in italics but Greek letters are not.
Does anyone know how to change that (I can't find any general settings
which control this behaviour).
One work around is to put the "ital" command into the equation, but this
has the undesirable effect of making any subscripts italicized also. For
example
Y = %beta_0 results in the Y being italicized (good) but not the Beta
(bad)
Y = ital %beta_0 will italize the Beta, but also the subscripted 0
(which I don't want)
I would be very grateful if anyone knows how to revers this change in
behaviour of the equation editor (I am not sure which version it
happened with).
Thank you
Ian Dohoo
