bg responds:

I have a question for those involved in the composition of the
distribution - if JRE is a requirement of some portions of OOo,
why is it not folded into the distribution as a matter of course?
I had no particular heartburn in fetching it from Sun and
installing it, back when I first put in OOo, but if OOo is to
appeal to the widest audience, wouldn't it make more sense to
make this thing a little less "some assembly required"?
