Hi Jeff,

I can confirm the first bug you mentioned, I have seen this too (OOo
1.1.4 and older under XP). Never payed attention to it, though, as this
also happened with other programs, I kinda figured I had to live with
it. Also, in most cases you just have to sit and wait it out. It may
take 2 or 3 minutes, and then one OOo instance after the other comes up.

I just checked your other point again, and I was able to close my last
active document without shutting down OOo.

Is it possible that both phenomena are linked to CPU overcharges?
