Hi Paul, I solved the problem. I had installed Open Office 1.0.2 before which I had uninstalled after having installed Open Office 1.1.4. Within in Windows Explorer I got offered to reset the association for xls-files instead of the standard button to view the command lines, stating that I had changed that association manually I reset and now it says Open Office 1.0.2 will open xls-files, but the command line is set up properly with Open Office 1.1.4: "C:\Programme\OpenOffice.org1.1.4\program\soffice.exe" -o "%1".
Now xls-files are opened properly on double click. Regards Klaus -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: "Paul" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> An: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]> Gesendet: Mittwoch, 6. If you want to send the file to me, off list, I'm happy to have a look at it for you... /paul On 7/5/05, Klaus Urgast <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Paul, > > I have let the installation programme associate xls files with open > office and I have checked that this has happened.
