Reveal codes were a kludge, because WP does _not_ implement styles correctly. When styles are correctly implemented, the writer of a document has to pay attention to content, and can totally ignore the markup. Both WordPerfect, and Word require the writer to pay more attention to markup, than to the content. > affecting the formatting could be simply deleted. That is the best indication that neither WordPerfect, nor Write implmenent styles. > have a way to simply turn off all automatic formatting -- and number/indent > whenever I want to. Setup teh styles that you want, and use them. For people that are just learning about styles, the best thing to do, is to not have the formtting bar visible. Every time the markup changes, use Stylist. xan jonathon -- Does your Office Suite conform to ISO Standards? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
