Dear Jonathon,
This is the last time I am answering your barren statements!
(I think I should call them axioms - or beliefs, such as "I believe in God" -.
In situations such as these, you _do not_ have to explain or demonstrate
anything!)
I use OOo styles as much as possible. Many years ago, (I think Linux
did not
exist, yet) I used to use MS Word styles as much as possible. I also use
"styles" in HTML pages, as much as possible! I _know_ what styles are!
Now, as to the implementation of styles: as usual, you do not explain
what
you mean by "correct implementation of styles". We do not know if you are
referring to "(in)correct design" or simply to "existence of bugs". You have
not explained, nor you have given examples. Except for one:
- WPerfect has a feature called "reveal (formatting) codes": for that reason,
it does not have a good styles implementation! Good thinking!
Unfortunately, 59 OOo users are trying to disrupt the good style
implementation of OOo
(http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3395)...
Also, unfortunately, nor OOo, nor any other software in general is bug free,
for which reason I said, in that address:
«For the time being, as far as Informatics is concerned, the best of software
as far as a user is concerned is to have _both_ worlds: good WYSIWYG features
and good "under the hood" features control.»
That's it! OOo list/numbering feature, stylewise or not, has a long way to go!
I will only answer again your statements, when you _really_ answer mine!
Regards
José
