Have a look at the faq for OOo concerning default templates, below : http://user-faq.openoffice.org/faq/index.html-toc.html
In regards to headers and footers. They are treated differently in OOo than in word. There will also be some small conversion problems between OOo and M$ products. One suggestion would be to convert your templates to OOo format, then make them default templates. This will remove any conversion problems. Once a document has been created from a template you can then save it in any format for those that may not use OOo. /paul On 7/12/05, Morné Binedell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > > > > I have recently been introduced to OpenOffice and I am generally impressed. > I have, however, experienced some problems with opening my letterhead and > documents previously saved in Microsoft office on my letterhead.
