I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. Some time ago, I was discussing an issue with the developers for wich a patch was available. This patch could not be not applied, since "there was no time left (before the next release) to run it through the QA tests." While this may sound well at first hearing (it did to me), I am very afraid that these QA procedures are starting to backfire. There are far too many issues outstanding than even the excellent OOo development teams can sort out, let alone solve. As a result, many issues are just overlooked or even ignored. Many of my issues have been in state NEW or STARTED for years. It certainly doesn't inspire me to keep entering new issues.
