When I downloaded text2columns, I got one spreadsheet file
only and it has detailed installation instructions in it:
INSTALLATION:
For use this tool in all your Calc documents, you should import
the source code as a 'shared' basic library.
To do this, follow the steps below:
- from menu "tools" select "macro...", in the dialog that
will displayed,
press the "organizer..." button.
- In the "Organizer" dialog, select the "library" tab.
Now, make sure the list box "application/document" is
pointed at "soffice".
- Pressing "add..." button, it will displayed a typical
"open file" dialog.
Find and select this file
(<?yourpath?>/TextToColumns.sxc) and press "Ok".
- The "Add library" dialog (another!) will shown.
Select only the library "TextToColumns" and press "Ok"
button.
- Done!!

The download contains directories for bitmaps, icons, help and
texttocolumns, and it contains 4 additional files:
addonconfiguration.xcs, addons.xcu, addonconfiguration.xcu, and TODO.
Can anyone help me understand how to install this macro?
