Hay Bob,
You could set up an account for a free email box at HotMail, Google Mail
or Yahoo Mail. Then whenever you send an email message just add your
free account email address in the BCC address. You will then be able to
goto your free account and see if it received the message. I do this all
the time when I'm testing my systems that send out automated messages.
It also gives me an off-site archive of the messages that were sent.
Peace,

I'm getting paranoid about my sent e-mail. Most of my low volume of messages is addressed to organizations from whom I don't necessarily expect an answer. Sometimes when I hit "send" a processing window briefly appears. Most often the only assurance of its' actually going out into the internet ether is the appearance of the message in "Sent Messages". Needless to say, I'm new at this. My basic question is--- Does the fact that a sent message is listed in "Sent Messages" an assurance that it was actually sent?
