hi folks, here's a question about some some complex automated numbering I'd like to do in writer:
I have a course syllabus which always changes a bit from year to year -- I move lectures and tutorials around. The syllabus follows a format a bit like this: Week 1: The French Revolution Lecture 1: Origins of the FR Lecture 2: Consequences of the FR Week 2: New Ideologies Lecture 3: Liberalism Lecture 4: Nationalism Tutorial 1: Interpreting sources Week 3: .... etc. So you see, I have 3 seperate numbering schemes running concurrently. Since the outlining scheme in OOo is hierarchical, I don't seem to be able to do precisely what I want using it. Instead, using outline styles and numbering, I can get this: Week 2: New Ideologies Lecture 2.1: Liberalism Lecture 2.2: Nationalism Tutorial: Interpreting sources ... but that's the best I can manage. Anyone know if there's a way to do precisely what I want? I am btw using 1.9.114 right now -- am trying to stick to the odt format for the future.
