That's not what we ment with 'version' , we wanted to know what version of Windows you are running (can be found out by rightclicking on My Computer on the desktop and clicking Properties). e.g. Windows 98 , Windows ME , Windows 2000 , Windows XP?

What version of Windows do you have on your computer? What is the name of the file that you downloaded? Different versions of Windows require doing something a little different in one step of installing OpenOffice.org (OOo). If you accidently downloaded the wrong file, you would not be able to install OOo. Please send this information as soon as possible to this mailing list: [email protected] so that we can help you.
