In addition to the repair function, you might look at the Microsoft tool they provide to clean up un-uninstallable ?messes? You could use this to clean up the 1.1.1 version, and then the 2.0 version has a better chance of installing/repairing itself (actually the latest I've seen is 1.9.122 which is really newer (and better) than one the labeled 2.0 beta)
