I think the fill characters that you see outside the text box after rotation are a display issue. Even though I am not the OP in this thread and this is not a serious issue for me, I do appreciate you taking the time to check my findings. I don't seem to be able access issuezilla at the moment, it accepts my user & pw but prevents me from filing a new issue. So maybe someone else here might like to submit this one.
