Dear all,
I have a problem when rotating a text box in OOo Draw:
When the text contains tabulations filled with a character
like '-', the text rotates but not the filling characters...
See attached file for an example.
Can you help me ?
Thanks in forward,

I don't think anyone can offer you a workaround. This appears to
be a bug which still exists in the latest 1.9.x developer
snapshots. I suggest that you file or vote for an issue in
issuezilla.
Dave
Strange. I cannot replicate this in Beta 2.0. I have had Beta 2.0
for some time and no problems yet. Maybe download/install that
version?
Adam
Strange I can replicate it consistently with 1.1.4 & 1.9.122 on Linux
& Win2k. However, I am not the OP and this is not a serious issue for
me, so I won't be going back to an earlier 1.9.x version.
Dave
If you can replicate it consistently with 1.1.4 and 1.9.122 on
Linux, would you please list what steps you took to create it? For
example, how did you get the tabulations to become "---"? Would you
also post your file to a web site and let us know what the URL is?
I use OOo 1.1.4 and 1.9.122 on Linux and can't get your results.
Dan
I am a bit short on time right now, but here is a an example. If needed
I will put it on a web site later.
Steps to create:
* Open Draw
* Click on text icon
* Draw a text box
* Type "Test" Tab Key "Test" (sans quotes)
* Highlight text
* Right click on highlighted text and select "Paragraph..."
* Select anything except "None" under "Tabs -> Fill Character"
* Click rotate icon
* Hold down shift key and use mouse to rotate any angle
Result: Fill characters disappear
I wouldn't say they disappear: if you refresh your screen, you'll see
that they're still here but they didn't rotate with the text. And if you
try to print it, you probably get the same result (so was it for me).
Have tested 3 different machines/installations = same result.
Dave
So, maybe we shall submit a bug...
I can try, but I never did it before... I'm afraid I would not be as
precise and clear as necessary...
Would you do it ? If so, could you give us the bug number ?
Thanks for all,
Jacques
