From OpenOffice, you have to save in a format (e.g. .doc) that MSOffice
understands. Same answer for any transfer between two programs---you
have to use a format that both can deal with. Someday, we may have some
more "universal" formats--as we now have in PDF, JPG, TIF, etc..
I wonder if you can set up OOo to always save in .doc format???

I have used OpenOffice before and was thinking about doing it again.
One of the issues I had when I was using it was my clients were not
always able to open OpenOffice documents with MS Office. Has this been
resolved?
I miss OpenOffice and would very much like to be part of the project
again.
