The answer is no considering how you are doing it. The program has
no way of knowing what you want to do when you "Edit > Fill > Series."
There is a simple way of filling in a series without getting this
dialog. Enter enough of the series to establish the pattern you want
and highlight all of those cells. At the bottom right of these
highlighted cells will be a handle (a little square box). Drag the
handle in the direction you want the series to go: to the right for a
row or down for a column. The rest of your series will be filled in to
the point you stop draging.
