Neither can I.
I recently migrated my mother to Ubuntu based KDE desktop system.
Why? Because everything is there and it's easier to use.
Have you checked out the state of desktop *nix, both gnome and kde (when
setup correctly) provide much better to use systems than Windows.
Why anyone would BUY a computer WITH windows is beyond me.
There are just too many applications for Windows that don't exist for *nix.
