The only thing of real importance you listed is Photoshop and Intuit,
and there's rumor that it's being ported. However, I'm a pro. photog.
and I do ALL my work in Linux and the Gimp, which is a VERY good app!! I
have no doubt that MickySoft is doing all it can to keep Intuit from
porting.

Gimp isn't? Hmmmm..........don't tell my clients that, will ya?!! ;)

The only apps. needed are from Intuit. There ARE others apps. to replace
them, but Intuit has done a good with their apps. and if ported to
Linux, would just about secure the desktop for Linux.
