i suppose it was a reference to msword documents where user can in no way see that there is additional information left without disassembling the document - i have seen this several times, and it is really fun to see previous versions of agreement with other organisations & different sums ;)

or is there also such a problem with oo.org that i haven't heard of ? (users with enabled change recording & disabled viewing don't count ;) )

That can also happen with OOo.  [Reading "deleted" data in OOo
documents can be as interesting as reading the same data in MSO
documents.]
