It;s been a long time coming! I've been watching the LINUX community
via various web sites for a couple of years. I will be working with my
grandson to set up a LINUX box over the next few weeks. I'm looking at
either Linspire (I have their free CD), or Xandros.
I am currently the author of a small database (Access) and would like to
get it into a "run time" version. MS wants about $5000 Can for to
full developers version which is out of our range right now. I'm
hoping that an OSS database program can deliver.
I look forward to a more intense relationship with your (my) community.
