You sent this to a user community support group, a strange place to
make your request. Maybe the webmaster is who you want to "talk" to?

First let state that I use broadband so I have no direct opinion. 

But I was curious and looked at "web" opinion.

My "hearsay" research indicates this was a bad player who now provides
an Adware service one has to sign up for. I see it marketed as such. I
see claims that Norton/McAfee/MS don't class this adware as spyware. I
see other cleams that it helps a lot or doesn't help at all (I expect
both the users connection and number of sites it finds to download
from matter).

Is it possible you haven't done your homework? 

Regardless, it isn't my call, I just respond to some cries of help
where I have something to contribute on a mail list.
