First, try opeing the program from a terminal window:
1. Using the Search utility (under "Actions" on my RHEL4), search for "swriter". On my machine it is in: /opt/openoffice.org1.9.125/program
2. In a terminal window, cd to the appropriate directory and type "./swriter" and hit enter.
If this works, then you have the SW installed OK and the issue is with the link from the menu.
Did you install OOo into your Redhat system? If so, how? (eg RPM) Has it ever worked? -Mark Anand Verma wrote:
