Hi All,
I've been working on a overly large document that includes a number of
charts that were made with the Spreadsheet application. I have two
computers with which I've been doing the work, but recently (once I
started to add the charts to the document) one of the computers will
show a partial representation of the chart and the rest of the screen,
including the menu items, quick click buttons and other various areas of
the screen go black. The only parts that do not change are the scroll
bar, and the main window bar. These screens work fine on the other
computer.
I have also loaded up the spreadsheets that generated the charts, when
viewing the data itself, everything is fine, but when looking at a sheet
that has a chart on it, same thing occurs, screen goes black save the
scroll bar, change sheet buttons down on the bottom left and the main
window bar.
I've fiddled with the various settings to see what could be the cause,
but none of the changes made any difference. I can always see a page
that has no chart included in it, but the second even a small section of
a chart appears on the screen, it takes over..
Does anyone have any ideas?
If you leave it for awhile, does the screen refresh?
I have seen something similar and it was on an old, slow computer. Wait
for some time and the screen draws.
This information will be helpful.
What OS?
What version of OOo?
What is different between the two computers?
