This sounds really weird. No one else has reported such a problem.
Can you try rebooting and/or restarting your PC and OpenOffice.org ?
Been there, done that... :( So far I have uninstalled and
reinstalled OOo. This effect is persistent. Gathering strength to
reinstall the whole OS, but must finish my thesis first...
These type of settings should not be stored in the registry, but rather,
in the configuration files that are NOT removed when you uninstall OOo.
So, I recommend that you find these directories and simply delete them.
On a Windows computer, they are probably located someplace like:
C:/Documents And Settings/Application Data/OpenOffice.org2/
