Thanks! that did the trick. Actually, anchoring "as character" was not
as effective as anchoring "by page." It is considerably a lot of
monkeying around (also what Microsoft Word was known for) but it works.
It takes me considerably longer with OO and M$ to do so many things than
it does with Word Perfect 8. I'd like to see OO have the same ease and
versatility as Word Perfect, which leaves Word in the dust.
