Please can you advise me? I am quite computer-illiterate but have used Windows 98 for some years mainly for text documents. I have just downloaded and installed OpenOffice 1.1.5, quite frankly because I cannot afford to update my Office 2000 for financial reasons.
My problem: I write text documents both in English and German. I have no problem with English but am unable to operate the spell checker in German, even when I have set the language to German. So I wonder if this is not included with the Office Suite I have installed. Is it possible to obtain or purchase a German spellchecker and Thesaurus for Open Office 1.1.5 please?
