And, I believe it is in the font package one can dl from M$, freely. A
package called msfonts or something. I've had these two laying around
here since forever.

/usr/share/fonts/msfonts/cabextract-0.6-1.i386.rpm
/usr/share/fonts/msfonts/msttcorefonts-1.2-3.src.rpm

So far back up the log I have no idea where I got the rpms. The M$ files
are not in rpm format so I suppose its a conversion.

Humm, maybe I shouldn't be so positive about the src, I have a dir for
msttcorefonts, and garamond is not there. Turns out its installed for
the tex (latex?) stuff apparently:
/usr/share/texmf/fonts/tfm/cg/garamond
and:
/usr/share/texmf/fonts/vf/cg/garamond

Anyway, its freely available.
