OpenOffice files are simply zip files. Winzip puts the .zip on the end
when you save the file. There's not really any point to adding a .zip
extension to any OOo document.

I have an OO spreadsheet file. One copy of it is named Test.sxc and
another copy is named Test.sxc.zip which was created by adding the ZIP
extension to the Test.sxc file.
Both can be opened through the OO file open and are identical.
If I look at the Test.sxc.zip with WinZip I see a collection of XML
files.
My question is: Where can one find the Help info that suggests how to,
or why one would, place the ZIP extension on the *.sxc file? I did
searches in OO and on the OO web site. Nothing found.
